Comox Sidestripe Kabobs

Enjoy the natural sweet taste of Sidestripe Shrimp don’t overpower with strong sauces or marinades

1- pound raw sidestripe peeled BC WILD SHRIMP
1-2 minced garlic clove,
1 Tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
1 dash of Paprika
few tablespoons of your favorite white wine
¼ cup of melted butter

  1. Mix garlic, parsley, paprika, and wine to melted butter to use as a basting sauce.
  2. Place shrimp on metal skewers- cook for 3-4 minutes on barbeque brushing frequently with basting sauce until shrimp turn white with pink highlights.
  3. Avoid over cooking as this will dry and make the shrimp tough.
  4. Use as an appetizer or as an entrée (serving 4) with rice, asparagus or other vegetable.
